Keep It Fringe Funding
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been awarded Keep It Fringe Funding for my new show, You Wait. Time Passes, coming to the Edinburgh Fringe this year!
As many of you know, I’ve spent much of the last 3 years applying the finishing touches to my life’s work, a top secret project that I have been labouring over for several decades now. I can’t wait to unveil it for real at this year’s Fringe, and am honoured that Phoebe Waller-Bridge and the Fringe Society have deemed this project worthy of their funding.
Three years ago I was awarded Arts Council Funding to make a serious theatre show about consciousness and ended up accidentally spending it on a show about farts and sausages that ended with me crying in my pants because I’d just shat myself. I vow to not do that this time. This show will be an artistic triumph.
Hugely grateful to all who have been part of this journey so far – Queenie Miller, Miranda Holms, Jon Brittain, Hollie Ebdon, Christian Brighty and many more who have advised, consulted, listened.
Let’s go.
